Eastern Indigos eat a WIDE variety of things, snakes are but 1 out of that list that also include such creatures as ; Fish, frogs, toads, birds, baby birds, eggs, salamnders, lizards, gophers, mice, rats, grasshoppers(neonates)
baby alligators, baby turtles.
Mussaranna are PRIMARILY Ophiophagous, which means that their PRIMARY PREY IS OTHER SNAKES.
I dont know about you, but my money is on the Mussaranna!!
Specialization is everything!!
