He meant to say you cook them at 290 degrees if you want to eat them for lunch.
Tell your vet that everybody you know that has them has told you 90 will kill your indigo fast. My texies thermostat shuts off the heat at 80 and she seems pretty happy with it. Much higher than 80 makes a puker.

: I use an under,outside the cage heating pad but it seems the snakes do not always find it or lay on it especially with the position of the hide box-seems like they move the box away from it- Any hints also to the positioning of overhead light source , positioning of thermom and optimum temps - My vet says 90 degrees for S TX Indigoes - I am a little confused on this- The vet says that they regurge lunch if not at least this temp- Dean and Fred, comments? thanks a lot.
