I have to say there is NO snake I would recommend keeping at a constant 90 degrees…nor I think would anyone who is an experienced snake keeper. Think about it, what part of the Earth is always 90 deg, with no shade or nighttime drops?
I keep TX indigos just like easterns and they do very well. Like Dan said, let them tell you what they need. Set up a cage with a gradient, 70’s on the cool end to mid eighties on the other. If your snake spends all his time on the hot end, he’s telling you he wants more heat. Conversely, if he’s constantly plastered on the cool side away from the heat…he’s telling you something else.
Your snake is more likely to regurgitate if kept too hot than too cool. If you keep him at a constant 90 deg, he’s going to be MISERABLE, and will likely rub his nose raw trying to escape the heat.
