a horror story

This year an experinced herper I know who I will leave nameless...well...he had a pair of adult yt's that he thought he'd try to breed for the first time. He assumed you bred them like any colubrid and out them both down in full brumation at about 55 deg night and day with the rest of his colubrids. The female was an import, and the male was a seven plus foot cb from elliot stock.
May they rest in peace. This just happened this winter. They are both dead.
