Oh, and my other male couperi is nocturnal

My adult male is super active at night, contrary to everything i have read about these snakes.

anytime i come into the herp room at night (even 2 or 3 AM), he is prowling his cage.

temperatures are not abnormal, and the adult female is asleep in the cage right next to him. he's been this way since i got him, in june.

any thoughts?
