I have been working with snakes for close to 10 years now...most notably pits and heterodon. However, I'm on Doug and Dean's lists for TX indigos, so I figure I should start with some cribos to get a feel for the family. After reviewing all of the popular ones available, I chose to purchase a pair of 5 month old cb black tails based on their looks. They should be here in the morning.
I plan on keeping them in seperate sterilite containers with aspen, hiding spot, water bowl and branches to climb on.
Any words of wisdom for a first time drymarchon keeper? As you know there is very little literature. I have even heard that cribos should be kept slightly cooler than indigos?
thanks
