I personally think Tx Indigos are harder to come by...Not as many people breeding them..I've seen only 1 pair listed on KS classifieds in the last 2 yrs..Prices should be comparable to Easterns in my opinion..
: The TX indigo is not federally listed, it is listed only by the state of TX.
: THey cannot be removed from TX, but it is perfectly legal to keep them outside of the state, providing they are captive born animals.
: I have not seen many babies for sale, but they seem to go for about $300-$400 ea, which is less than easterns which are more like $400-$600
: There are several people from this forum who have pairs breeding now and hope to have babies next summer including: Doug Taylor, and myself, I'm sure there's a few more,,, but they are tough to get ahold of.
