The TX indigo is not federally listed, it is listed only by the state of TX.
THey cannot be removed from TX, but it is perfectly legal to keep them outside of the state, providing they are captive born animals.
I have not seen many babies for sale, but they seem to go for about $300-$400 ea, which is less than easterns which are more like $400-$600
There are several people from this forum who have pairs breeding now and hope to have babies next summer including: Doug Taylor, and myself, I'm sure there's a few more,,, but they are tough to get ahold of.
