This subject comes up a lot on this forum. The state permits in Florida are issued mainly for educational purposes only, and even then are very hard to get.

Your best bet if you like these snakes is to try to get one of the other subpecies like TX indigo, blacktail, unicolor etc.

They have similar personalitys and are legal in Florida.
