Had one that taped out at 9 ft many years ago, that was a LARGE indigo!! My male is just a couple of inches shy of 71/2 ft now, however dougs male is way more heavy bodied(It's those Washington state rats' I tell you!:)
Most of the adult easterns you will come across are in the 5 to 6 ft range, males get larger than females, and make better display subjects(My opinion)
