dan,
I don't see an email addy bellow, but wanted to ask you more about captive spilotes - (I know this isn't the forum, but try to humor me!)
My cage is built - 4x3x3, good over head lighting/heat gradient. Buut these guys show NO interest in food. Frozen/thawed chicks, rat pups, adult, dead mice - nothing.
I've had them to the vet and they got the usual profelactic (SP?) treatment.
I don't want to loose these guys and was wondering about getting them to feed. As you know, their metabolism is so fast that a couple weeks with out food can kill them.
Maybe I should separate them? They have branches, a large water tupperware thing and strong overhead light.
I can't even imagine how to force feed them if that becomes necesary.
Joe
