Carl,

The first thing to consider is the females age, length and bodyweight. If she is underweight or to young( 2 yrs old) then it is best to wait a year.
I find that a nightime drop down to 65 degrees can trigger breding. I have seen breeders maintain these animals at 50-60 degrees for prolonged periods of time(nightime drop), I have also seen these same breeders suffer the misfortune of respiratory disease in their snakes.
I recommend opening the windows, at night, especially when the barometric pressure drops. As for the decrease in temps affecting the fertility level, due to retained sperm, I wouldnt bet on it.
