cooling indigos, breeding questions

Hi. I've read that in order to breed easterns, one must cool them down into the 60's, or even lower.

Living in LA, I'm curious as to how one can do this without running an air conditioner in my reptile room all day.

If anyone has any insights into this, please share them with me! :)
