Just sounds like normal individual variability to me. The way I see it, you don't want to be handleing the female for much more than keeping her tame and relaxed around you. I think less stress makes for better eggs when you are breeding them.

However the male would eat every day if you offered it to him. The female on the other hand will take 1 per week only once has she eaten 2 fuzzies & that was the day she came out of a shed. Both have shed since I've got them, their very healthy, their defacating (in fine Indigo style, you look in the cage you'd swear there's a duckling not a hatchling in there).

: My question is; Is my female a bit timid or is my male exceptionally tame? Or is this a normal male / female kind of thing where Indigos are at? I'm just amazed by the character of these little guys, can't wait till they get bigger & I WILL be getting more of these.
