hatchling question

Hi Folks;

Well it's 3 weeks now since I bought my 1st pair of Eastern Indigo hatchlings & I've made a few obsevations. Both are eating unscented pinkies/fuzzies without a problem. However the male would eat every day if you offered it to him. The female on the other hand will take 1 per week only once has she eaten 2 fuzzies & that was the day she came out of a shed. Both have shed since I've got them, their very healthy, their defacating (in fine Indigo style, you look in the cage you'd swear there's a duckling not a hatchling in there).

I've also noticed that the male is more active, outgoing & somewhat easier to handle whereas the female is just the opposite, a little reclusive, she's OK to handle but will try to avoid having you pick her up, whereas the male will actually glide out on your hand. In fact the minuite I open the rec room door he's out of his hide box checking to see if I'm going to take him out.

My question is; Is my female a bit timid or is my male exceptionally tame? Or is this a normal male / female kind of thing where Indigos are at? I'm just amazed by the character of these little guys, can't wait till they get bigger & I WILL be getting more of these.
