I have found the opposite with mine. Mine are bred in late december. Here in the Seattle area, that's normally a somewhat dry time as the jet stream has dropped south of us and is dropping rain on California.
Although it's often thought of as always wet in Seattle, our biggest storms are usually early spring and fall with my scheduled indigo breeding time during the coldest and driest time of winter.
I do drop my temps much more than most folks, 55 ntl, 70 dth during breeding week.
I will keep an closer eye on storms when it comes to breeding activity this year tho'.
