: So Fred, you believe that it is the barometric pressure, not the actual temperature changes, that stimulate the breeding season?
: I'm not arguing the point, just curious, what led you to believe that ?

Dean,
After experimenting with the temps for a few years, some of which had relatively low barometric pressure, I noticed that the temperatures did not seem to have as much of an effect on the snakes breding cycle as the pressure. I had the snakes as high as 80 at night, and as low as 70, with little or no difrence. The only time that I noticed a verifiable difference is when storms approcahed and the pressure changed. most of my breedings have been observed DUREING the storms.
