Yes, we DO believe that Indigos are precious....but throw that out the window because I'd be just as concerned if you were talking about crossing a Bull snake with a Gopher snake! The problem lies not so much with the individual that produces the mutt, (although if NEVER produced....no problem at all), is going to sell, give away, whatever...these mutts. Even if he represents them honestly, you know as well as I do that someone down the line will represent one as a "purebred" of one sub species or the other. A person looking to breed will purchase that animal not knowing it is a hybrid and screw up a breeding project he\she may have been working on for YEARS.
Not only does hybridization screw up the gene pool, but when succesful, what do you really have? A bunch of mutts that no self respecting herper would want in the first place!
