I have 3 snakes in one room--my indigo who is 14 months, my amel corn--4 years, and my jungle carpet--4 months old..its funny, but they all usually shed within a week of eachother, even though my corn is significantly older than the rest. Personally, i think it's just a coincidence..'cause I feed them all at the same time. Ive often wondered if snakes give off a pheromone before shedding. You know what they say--women that share the same household begin to have their periods at the same time..I have a hunch it may be the same with snakes--so far nododay has come up with an explanation...that is good enough for me--Ive been to herp shows and no answer as well.
