That is really neat. I live in ohio now. I never thought of the burrow and security thing, but it makes sense. I wouldn't want mine to roam just because of the kids, the fact that they crap a lot and that is smells bad.
I have been wanting an indigo for years. When I was younger, we use to spend the summer in florida at my anuts property on Merit Island. There was a nice population of indigos there. There was a large 9 footer that lived in one area most of the time. Now that I look back I can see how the territory thing makes sense. Wild indigos are awesome animals. It was amazing to find a 9 foot snake in the wild that was easy to handle.
$5 for an indigo. That is amazing. Now you can't touch one for less than $350-$400 for a hatchling. A 6 footer like mine goes for much more.
