Mistaken Indigo

Just realized today what I thought was a WC Indigo (also didn't know this was a no-no) was actually not. Very black but belly is orange. Pic's I saw plainly show belly is white/cream. Did I actually catch a red-bellied watersnake I wonder? To Tennessee Hick, who I said I knew were to catch Idigo's, I obviously was wrong. BTW, I live in No. Alabama, are Idigo's even native here?
