:you wont have a problem with them eating but start with a mouse or small rat,cribos eat small prey items for there size compared to like a rat snake my six foot cribo could barely eat a large rat,this will also keep the stress down and keep the snake from getting bad bites since food items are somethimes swallowed alive being held down or pressed agaist the side of its cage by loops of its body.cribos are also canniblistic and should be kept seperate, except during breeding, cribos are strong feeders and i never seen one that wouldnt eat, keep light on during the day,shut it off at night. good luck heather with your cribos there one of my favorite snakes
