I ended up taking the snake to the vet who, after an injection, passed the egg this morning. I probably should have waited a year but fell to impatience (something I rarely succomb to). Thank God that He pulled this snake through and she is doing fine. Thanks for all of your personal replies and advice. They are truly appreciated.

: : I have never had an egg bound female. I chalk it up to waiting until they hit 6 ft+ to even consider breeding them, but mainly to Gods grace and less of my doing. One of my friends has had his colubrids(Hondurans etc) get egg bound and we aspirated the eggs as doug described earlier, it seemed to work well.
: : Indigo eggs are way more granular and often largere than most colubrid eggs. sorry for the lack of advice. Bringing her to the vet is Definetly you best option, it is truly amazeing that dougs female reproduced the year after the surgery, with no ill effects. You learn something every day..
