I'll try to answer your questions as best I can.
1- They poop more than pits (although not much)It has a similar runny consistancy.
2-Largest subspecies is Drymarchon corais corais, the yellow-tail cribo, which can attain lengths in excess of 10'
3-In my experience, they don't grow nearly as fast as Pits, you can expect 2 years at least for them to hit the 6' mark. Of couse Virgils friend has that melanurus thats 3 years old and 8' so...
some may grow faster.
4-I've only bred Eastern Indigos so far...and they are not hard to get to breed, but it's a crap shoot as to whether you get fertile eggs. I've heard most of the cribos are somewhat easier to breed, although it would be very difficult to say because very few people do it with any regularity.
5-By fidgety, I assume you mean that they are always on the move when being handled? If that's the question, the answer is yes !
Hope this helps, I'm a pit fan too, and love all the large colubrids. Trust me, these guys are the kings!
