are bad for us? I saw a guy on the Discovery channel whose entire job consisted of cooking deep fried chittlins in some deep south resturant. All week long this place serves all you can eat fried chittlins and fried corn bread for $10 or something like that. As the interviewer questioned the cooked he made the comment that all this deep fried food was extremely unhealthy. The cook responded that he eat it every day and knew that it was killing him. He then said he wasn't sure if he'd see his next birthday (his 95th). With the average lifespan of the population of the USA now somewhere around between 72 and 75 (and rising) I am having a hard time with the processed foods being unhealthy argument. Regardless, I try to keep my snakes away from Big Macs and Taco Bell when possible.
