I have 5 now, a 3 yr old, 2 2 yr olds, a 10 month old and a 2 month old. Last winter, I went crazy trying to figure out ways to get my oldest 3 to eat as I wanted them to grow through winter. They just weren't having anything to do with it, but the youngest, then just a few months old, ate like a pig all winter. Consequently, the 10 month old is roughly the same size as the 2 year olds! They have all been pigging out this summer, but I have also adjusted to the fact that Huggy (the 3 yr old) will only eat hoppers that have been prekilled, frozen and thawed. She could easily eat a full grown mouse but she just won't do it! Elmo (my male 2 yr old) will eat either p/k or f/t but Charlotte (the other 2 yr old) will also only eat f/t! Winky, my 10 month old, is a darn pig and I have to be careful she doesn't eat everything in sight! including the paper toweling on the bottom of her feeding cage! my little tiny baby so far eats like a champ. All bets will be off as soon as the days get shorter and the weather cools down. These are tremendous, delightful snakes! Do give them a try!
