I think that you pretty much got most of them, some of them might be useless though in my opinion. I think the only way it would benefit someone new is if all the techniques were explained in detail. Really, if someone knew how to use all of those methods, they wouldn't need a checklist! Another thing to do would be to rate them in order of highest possible success, or in order of ones you should first.
Here are some methods I have gotten to work that were not on your list:
*running the pinky under hot water
*draping the shed skin of a frog over the pinky
*getting a toad to urinate on the pinky (this WILL work, but captive toads don't always want to pee)
*rubbing the pinky in frog feces (don't go overboard on this one)
*simply tearing some of the loose skin around the neck of the mouse to expose blood, etc. (just as good as braining)
*And some things I think that you should ALWAYS do: try to feed while the snake is already active; minimizing your disturbance while removing the lid ect. (this should only be done with finicky eaters since you don’t want the snake to ingest the substrate); use long hemostats to hold the food item as you want to separate your smell as far away from the food as possible.
Thanks for taking the initiative on this! You should also consider posting this on the feeder forum as well.
*Humans aren't the only species on earth... we just act like it.
