Gila as first hot?

Hi all, I've been a lurker for quite some time :-). I am truly obsessed with Gilas, I love 'em! I have always contemplated getting into "hots". What would you think about a Gila as a first hot? What size cage (vision is what I house my herps in) would be required to house a single adult? Do any of yall have any good Gila websites/care sheets? I am probably a year or two away from actually getting one (space problems), so I'll have plenty of time to research them. I think I read in the new "Hots" Issue of reptiles, there is no anti-venin. I already knew about their vice like bite, and the excrutiating pain it causes. I've never kept any very aggressive herps before, but have some skill at field collecting and working with aggressive animals (a few venomous [mainly copperheads]). I am open to all opinions, criticisms, and tips. For some reason, I think a Gila would make a better first hot than a snake (maybe I'm just dumb?) Thanks, Bernard.
