you left me out of this even if it was used to perpetuate a "joke". Please keep me out of your sand kicking contest.

Since you brought me into this here is my take on the whole "ball of wax". I know the reason for my post was to share something with the class that I thought they could learn from. I'm assuming here that not everyone that reads these posts or frequents this forum has all the answers or knows everything. I know I sure don't and I would be assinine to even take on that attitude.

I "feel" the reason for Ken's post was to do the same share something with the class that they may not have seen. You have to admit(and I think you did) that regardless of what subspecies or what the rest of the gila looks like, it was a cool set of pictures. I'm sure some people haven't witnessed the actual oviposition and to see that distention in the cloaca. You know how they say a picture speaks a thousand words, those were a great capture of an event of time ("basically" what a picture is).

For the record I did not acquire said gila monster from Jackie Lapradd (which I'm sure you both know). And I will NEVER divulge its origin in this forum. Why because I don't want to fuel other people opinions of indivduals. Make your own opinions. People have variable degrees of experience with other people. Some times you catch people on a bad day. Some times people have preconceived ideas about people with no sound basis for it.

It just amazes me how there is "basically" no difference between this thread and the thread above. The same old debate of what subspecies is it. The main difference in it though is that it spun off on to a "sand kicking contest" whereas the thread above seems more educational. At least I learned more from it.

This in no way is meant as negative to either Jackie or Kerry. I value both of your inputs providing they are something I can learn from.

You know I am really sorry I missed this last night but I was busy watching fireworks and having a good time with friends and family.

Just my $0.02 worth.

Kevin
