: AG..very nice looking lizards. the pattern on your male suspectum was super tight looking. the 01 applegate exasperatum appears to me, to be a male. what do you think? i'm judging by the broad head size in your photo. i put together a nice little assortment of 2001 exasperatum's from different bloodlines and i can say there all around 18 inches in length. some are more thick looking around the neck with broader heads while others that are the same in length have smaller more narrower heads. it's very noticeable in my lizards. i'm not imagineing it, i stair at these lizards a lot each day and there really is a growing difference between them.. they all eat the same size rodents(not eggs) on the same exact days. let me know what you think. again very cool looking lizards....i'm out

Hey Steve, you're right, I hate these flame wars that go on in the forums. If he thinks I'm lied -so be it. I don't have 30+ years of experience with Gilas, but I've always been told that infertile eggs were of little value.

So you think my little exasperatum is a male? I don't have others of similar size to compare, but a friend got one from another clutch and it looks very similar in build.
