ok first thing is i've been keeping reptiles and anphibians since i was 8 so i can take care of em properly.

ok so pretty much i want a reptile that is BIG like around 3' or up. and i wan't it to like being held. or learn to like being held. i don't want a skittish animal. i'll hold it everyday to tame it if i have to. also i want to enjoy feeding it. that's why i don't like snakes too much. they are boring as hell at feeding time. i don't care if it has teeth or bites me i have a very high tolerence to pain. so pretty much i want a moniter that likes to be held. i'm wanting this animal to kinda fulfill the role of the dog, the pet that i come home to and spend time with. the black throat moniter is perfect but i'v heard that moniters don't like to be held and i want an animal that'll kickit. do any of you have any suggestions?? anything helps even if you say a type of snake. i'll look into all possibilitys.

thank you for any feedback.
