Tokay Gecko Questions?????

My friend recently purchased a Tokay because it was cheaper than the rest at the pet store. We were warned by the pet store that they are vicious and hard to manage, etc... My question is, are they THat hard to manage??? I fear opening the cage because it goes crazy and tries to escape. Also, what is the best thing to feed it? Any advice on this Tokay would definately help. Thanks in advance.
