: Hi, Could some of you snake experts please tell me how to get a red sided garter snake out of my basement please?

: I'm no expert, but have you tried catching it?

: Get a few rocks or 2 pieces of wood about 3" thick and rest a piece of cardboard on top, making a kind of shelter.

: The snakes may use this to sleep under, especially as the weather is cold. Early in the morning, if you are lucky, you will find them under the card shelter.

: They like hiding in places like under the fridge.

: They also like warm places.

: Let me know if it works.
