I'm no expert, but have you tried catching it?
Get a few rocks or 2 pieces of wood about 3" thick and rest a piece of cardboard on top, making a kind of shelter.
The snakes may use this to sleep under, especially as the weather is cold. Early in the morning, if you are lucky, you will find them under the card shelter.
They like hiding in places like under the fridge.
They also like warm places.
Let me know if it works.
