Huge surprise that you would say zonata. It's amazing that people still buy into the "magic spot" concept. Every time I drive by Whitewater Canyon there's a chain of guys road-hunting there who would probably have better luck at any of a half-dozen spots within ten minutes, but they just can't seem to think for themselves. Why have an issue with the fact that somebody dangles you a carrot once in a while? You bit on it, didn't you. Who cares about who says what to whom? Without exception, every person who's ever asked me where to catch a zoner or rare Cal King does so because they haven't figured out how to do it themselves and they deserve to get "screwed" (what precisely does this term mean relative to our dialogue?). Why would game wardens be concerned with this species, in any event? You can collect and keep that snake here legally and it's not particularly rare.
