I'd think you'd relish seeing a bad guy go down. Or did you jump to conclusions and think I was making a starement that ALL herpers are crooks? I'm guessing the latter. Take a deep breath now.

Follow the law but don't let it decide for you what is ethical. I have yet to talk to a biologist who thinks CA bag limit of one zonata is fair and reflective of the species abundance. All of them have said zonata can support a much greater take but they are divided only on whether increased take and commercial breeding would result in more breaking of rocks. I think if there were more reasonable laws more people would give their spots to F&G to watch and also turn in more rock breakers and poachers.
