...YOU'RE in college! You still have a LOT to learn. No offense intended, but experience comes with age and practice. I must be about 150 years old now. Luck had nothing to do with my success. It was timing, knowledge and FATE! I also think that maybe Kauffeld and Ace Pittman were along for the ride in my truck. I saw the most in the morning and just before dark. During the heat of the day I went swimming in a lake. Great water, except for the red color. It was the first or second week in June. You ALWAYS wait for moisture before lifting cover. If it's too wet, you get salamanders and if it's too dry, you get nothing. It has to be inbetween. I did have some help, tho, because a friend in PA gave me a list of sites to hunt. Without his help, I wouldn't have seen the Pine or spotted turtles or Ribbon snake or Chain King. Ya gotta love friends!
