I composed a letter this evening, will review it in the morning, and possibly ruin my chances of acquiring any future renewal of my Calif. scientific collecting permit. But sometimes one needs to take a principled stand against unethical, unprofessional, and self serving practices that are increasingly being promoted by biologists in managment level positions within state wildlife agencies.
