When it says "An additional 11 species of
reptiles, for which sportfishing take is currently allowed, will be exempted from sport take: "
what exactly does exempted mean. you could take that to mean that they are exempted from sport collection so you don't need a fising license to collect them, or they could be exempted from sport collection and thus illegal to collect. They list crotalus ruber in this list....does this mean that it is illegal to collect ruber or that it is legal to collect ruber and you can do so even without the sportfishing license.
I ask because it says that an additional 11 for which collecting is currently allowed with be exempted. it list among other things phrynosoma coronatum and crotalus ruber. as far as i know P. coronatum is currently protected, and C. ruber is not. thanks for any info. are these changes supposed to take effect in 2002???
thank you.
