: Yellow Rats and the intergrade rats (yellow and Black rat cross). These are "chicken snakes" in NC & SC. Hope this hellps and good luck.

: : : : This was in Bastrop, Texas, and it's about 1 hour east of Austin. My Granny has also talked about seeing chicken snakes when she was a kid. She lived in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, and I don't think their the same "chicken snakes" that are in Bastrop. Scientific names sure help...
