Honestly, the amount of traps I set out for my corn to find a nice warm mouse never worked. I find the best bet is going to bed and turning off all the lights and then half an hour later doing a sweep of the house with a torch when she slithers out for food!
Good luck and never give up......they're quite hardy little souls!
