I'm going to take a water sample down to the local pet store and have them test it for me (to expensive to buy the tests). Should I just have them test for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Also about where should these levels be and what should I do to adjust them if needed. Also can I add normal aquarium chemicals to the water. They have stuff to remove organic waste, something called enzyme starter and all that other kinda stuff. By the way this is for the wetland filter. Rick, if you do a FAQ, I think all this would be good info to add to it. I could probably help come up with a couple more for you also (as could the other couple of people on the board who just tried one of these filters as well.)
