They sure like to come around my computer monitor and buzz my face. I'll have to try the tape. Did you find long thin things in your water dishes? Look kind of like thin brownish rice?

:I've been using regular ole fly tape with moderate effectiveness.

:The flies seem to like to land on things around the tanks, so I just hang a couple fly tape sections on the bottom of the shelves above the snake tanks, so it loops in a W shape. A lot of the adult flies have landed on that and subsequently die. It looks tacky, but it does work to a certain extent.
