What's wrong with my gopher snake?

Does anyone know what's wrong with this Pacific gopher snake? I've had the snake for two years and it's been very healthy. The cage is warm and clean with fresh water and a good gradient. It acts fine, but it's mouth is open and the scales on its head are looking pretty old. It's not shed in about two months. It's not eating as much as usual, but did eat a few days ago.
