I have a Goin's kingsnake who really likes to just chill out on your lap but I'm not sure if this is normal for the species. You may want to check them out, though. My Honduran milksnake is pretty nervous. I'm sure Rosies and Rubbers are worth considering too! Kenyan sand boas are also calm as adults but the hatchlings can sometimes be downright nasty.
