I am not at all equipped to house a big snake, but at the reptile house I frequent, there is an albino burmese that is really mean. No one wants to pick him up. I feel bad for him, because he might not find a home if he doesn't settle down. So, I have volunteered to stop in once or twice a week to help. I put the gloves on and we got the stick and hauled him out. Once I was holding him for a couple of minutes, I got rid of the gloves. He kept hissing, but seemed to relax a bit, and he never struck. Tomorrow I'll stop in for another session. :)
