The one that the Barker's gave to the S.A. zoo was 23 feet 10 inches. that was a funny story though. Tom Crutchfield had promised that these retics were an Island locality form that grew no longer than 10 feet but in 5 years they came up with this monster.

They now believe the "dwarf" was actually from Sulawesi - an island renown for yielding the largest, fastest growing retics. In fact, this particular island is where the world record holder for length was killed back in 1912 - 32'9" if my memory serves correct.
