I live in NY and have seen Samantha, the retic in the bronx zoo. She is just over 24 feet long but not the longest. The one that the Barker's gave to the S.A. zoo was 23 feet 10 inches. that was a funny story though. Tom Crutchfield had promised that these retics were an Island locality form that grew no longer than 10 feet but in 5 years they came up with this monster. I think the 2 others dies shortly after the Barkers received them.

: How about the monster the Barkers gave to the San Antonio Zoo??
: : : kyle and robert are right the longest snake is a reticulated python and the largest is a green anaconda. the largest snake in captivity right now is a reticulated python kept at the bronx zoo in new york. im not sure of the measurements though.
: : Are you sure that the retic in New York is the largest? I've heard Duncan Macrae has a monster at his park in Bali.
