Actually studies have shown that frozen/thawed prey is usually higher in content than live becuase its insides are preserved, meanwhile a live prey must be fed continously to be kept up to par. Not to mention, that most F/T dealers always kill and freeze the rats at their stomach capacity peeks. They let the rat or mouse digest its meal for 1 hour and then WHAM, right the head and into the freezer.
