I agree with you 100%. I also agree that my using the percentage sign may have confused the issue since it can be interpreted to denote probability.
So...am I right in thinking that we both agree with the following statements?
1) The probability (an expression of certainty) of a het to het breeding producing 1 egg from a 4 egg clutch is 0.6836 (or 68.36%).
2) The likelihood is that a het to het breeding will (on average) produce 1 albino from a 4 egg clutch.
If so, I think we're both on the same page.
My guess is that Bas is on the same page.
Paul, on the other hand, just seems to think I'm an idiot.
Anyway, I keep promising myself that I won't keep coming back to this debate, but I must admit that I have enjoyed it.
